Feb 23 vs Mariposa
A big game for us, as Mariposa has had our number all year long. Footie was definitely on his game, scoring the first goal midway through the 1st, giving us our first ever lead against Mariposa. The boys were on fire, playing their best game of the year. Finding ourselves down at several points of the game, once by two goals, Sawyer scored a Hattie to make sure that we werent going to lose this game, and it ended in a 4-4 tie! The whole team though have really picked up their games. The Defence was impressive in front of their own net, limiting Mariposa's scoring chances, the Forwards worked their tails off each and every shift, and The 'Tender made timely saves to keep us in it! We certainly made a big statement on Thursday night, time to get us a "W" boys!
