Gone in 46 Seconds
After taking an early lead just 38 seconds into the game, it was erased just 46 seconds later. We never seemed to get the momentum back after that. Several missed and questionable calls kept us from getting any offensive jump. Although this was our first playoff game, we still have 5 more games to catch our stride.
There were many great plays in the losing effort. Among them, Bryden Parliament with 2 goals (the first just 38 seconds into the game), Aron Barnett and Travis Yake with several great fore-checks and back-checks, and Campbell Ellis with a couple of good scoring chances. But quietly having a stellar game was Caden Birchard with a goal and 2 helpers. Good effort Caden!
