Home to Mariposa
First game against the Lightning this year was certainly a nail biter. Mariposa struck first, not even 30 secs into the game off a rebound clearance that went right to a Mariposa players stick and into the open net. Goaltending got us through the next two periods, as we were outplayed and out shot by a big differential.Mariposa struck again early in the third, putting us in a 2 goal deficit. But not 30 secs later, Luke Malcolm decided enough was enough and put one 5 hole on the 'tender, cutting their lead in half. Bryden did a great job on the boards to give the puck to TP who passed it to Ethan MacLeish to tie the game. Ethan then figured adding two more goals was easy enough, giving us the 2 goal lead, which is how the game ended. Consistency will be the key boys!
