Trampled by the Mustangs
After reeling off 3 straight wins to even our record, we ran into a well rounded, good skating Manvers Mustangs team. On a day meant for reflection and remembrance, this game was not worthy of being remembered. The Mustangs danced around us at times making it difficult to play our assigned positions. Making matters worse, we took the first 3 penalties of our season. We had played the first 6 games without a single infraction against us. We allowed the Mustangs to build an 8-0 lead before Ethan Brennan-Sherwood broke the shutout on a fantastic end to end rush to finish the scoring.
