Round 2 with Lindsay White
Having lost the season opener to the Muskies White team, our side looked to even the season series with a win in Cannington. We got off to a slow start allowing our opponent to take the lead just 20 seconds into the game. But we fought back hard to take the lead on 2 unassisted goals from Ethan Brennan-Sherwoood and Hayden Hine. The teams traded several chances and played evenly, however; the Muskies were able to capitalize on a few defensive zone miscues to build a 4-2 lead mid-way through the third.
Aron Barnett got us back to within a goal with 3:44 left in the 3rd, with the assist going to Hunter Nunn. We pressed hard throughout the final few minutes and even pulled Liam Flood in favour of an extra attacker, but it was not our night. The game ended in a 4-3 loss.
