West Lorne Tourny, Game 2 vs West London Hawks
Having observed our opponent in action before our first game the night before, we knew we would have to be on our game if we were to come away with a victory. The Hawks started the scoring just 45 seconds in, and doubled their lead just 4 minutes later. Brody Bugg got us back to within 1 with 1:26 left in the first by burying a centering pass from Travis Yake. The second period was evenly matched as the teams traded goals. The Brock goal scored by Jacob Archambault, assisted by Charlie Dowswell.

Heading into the 3rd frame, we felt we had played well enough to be in the lead but found ourselves down 3-2. Jacob tallied his second of the game just :34 in to tie it up, assisted by Brody Bugg. After The Hawks scored mid-way through the period to take the lead, Aron Barnett re-tied the game a mere 13 seconds later when rushed the puck forward off the faceoff and went in alone and was able to bury his own rebound. Just a minute later, a VERY bad missed offside call, gave the Hawks a 4 on 0 which they converted to take the lead once again with just over 5 minutes left in the game. The Wild pressed hard for the next few minutes in an effort to even the score again. Ethan Brennan-Sherwood made a nice solo rush up the right side but was forced into the corner. But he kept digging and was able to center the puck to a wide open Brody Bugg who buried his second of the game to earn the tie. Brody was awarded the Player of the Game Puck for his 2 goals and 1 assist.
