West Lorne Tourny, Game 3 vs Twin Centre Stars
A win in Game 3 would give us a chance at top seed in the semi-finals, a tie would get us to the semis and a loss would send us home. The Stars could only advance with a win. It was a very tense atmosphere as the teams traded chances before the Stars took a 1-0 lead half way through the first. Aron Barnett tied the score with 1:08 to go, assisted by Hunter Nunn. Aron continued with the hot stick early in the second notching his second, assisted by Liam Benge, to give us the lead. Just 17 seconds later, Travis Yake made it 3-1 after stealing the puck from the Stars defender. Liam Benge then made it 4-1 by banging home a rebound off an Aron Barnett shot.

Although the Stars were able to get one back at the 5 minute mark in the second, Hunter Nunn took the momentum back, scoring with 20 seconds left in the period Travis picked up the lone assist.
The final period was more defensive as the opponents were not going down without a fight. Although the Stars kept the pressure up Liam Flood stood tall in the goal. Hayden Hine ended the scoring on a terrific solo rush. Game over - Brock 6, Twin Centre 2.
Hayden Hine got the Player of the Game Puck with a goal and a highlight reel back-check, coming from 40 feet behind to force a weak shot wide of the net.
