Walk For Gary
On Saturday October 14th Brad Barton a former professional hockey player, and junior hockey coach that currently lives in Stouffville and is a former Cannington resident will be walking from his home in Stouffville to Cannington in memory of his good friend Gary Norris. Gary was a huge fan of Brock Minor Hockey, and when he passed away last year he asked that donations in his memory be made to Brock Minor Hockey.
Brad would like to continue on with Gary's wishes and has decided to make this trek of 58kms in Gary's name. Brad is currently collecting pledges to donate to Brock Minor Hockey. He has asked that he gets some support in the last stretch of his walk for the Sunderland to Cannington portion along the rail trail. I am encouraging our team to help Brad in the final leg of his journey and walk with him through Brock Township. More details will be available shortly.
