Shallow Lake Tourney
Headed north to Shallow Lake to avoid the snow in Brock for the weekend, and ended up coming home champions! Despite a narrow 2-1 defeat in our first game to the host team, the boys came roaring back with 5-3 and 11-0 wins to earn a seat in the finals, where we met up with the host team once again. It was a tense battle for every puck and when the final buzzer went, we were on the right side of a 2-1 victory! The key to the victories was that we are 3-0 when we score first and a never stop attitude that kept the boys feet moving for the full game. Honorable mentions from the weekend go to EBS for his first goal of the season, Aiden for his first shutout of the year, Sammy for getting both goals in the final game and TP for his quick hands around the net!
