TP then got his, firing a low hard shot from the slot that found the twine for a 2-0 lead. Tight defense and getting the puck deep after that was the key for us. Kawartha did get one back in the third to make things interesting. Pulling their goalie late in the third after a time out with a faceoff in our end, was a gamble they would regret, as Captain Clutch won the faceoff, and heaved it down the ice into the open wickets to finish the scoring!
