1/4 Finals vs Sturgeon - Game 2
Looking to make amends for the last game in Sturgeon, the 'Bys came out and played a much more rounded game on Sunday. Scoreless in the first, but it was an exciting back and forth one, highlighted by a Mavy penalty shot! Early in the second, Toggy broke in on the wing and fired one far side to take the lead! A couple of minutes later, a frustrated Sturgeon team took a penalty and that cost them, as Donny fired a clapper from the point and found the twine! (assisted by Mavy and Toggy). Back and forth we went again, but took the 2-0 lead into the third. Holding off Sturgeon, they weren't able to get much going, until we took a penalty late in the third, and they got on the board. Despite having Sturgeon pull their goalie, tough D in our end in the last minute sealed the victory!
