After the big win this am, the Boys were back at it against Sturgeon Lake. Totally different start to the game, as the boys played their hearts out right from the start. Back and forth we went in the first period, until Kay converted a pass from Bradley to open the scoring! A 1-0 lead held up until 4 secs left in the second before Sturgeon banged one in. Lots of great chances and near misses for both team filled the third, and Sturgeon got 2 goals to pull away before Kay got another of a great pass from Ian. Eric was between the pipes and he was hot this afternoon, turning away so many quality chances by Sturgeon. All of the boys played so hard this game that it was hard for the coaches to hand out the cards to just three, but Eric, Kay and Tucker snagged them.
