Peewee Rep Tournament Champions!
The Brock Wild Peewee Rep team travelled to Haliburton this weekend to take part in the Matt Duchene Tournament.

The team came out flying and started things of with a bang in their first game on Saturday beating Stirling 12-0. The next opponent was much tougher putting them against a very familiar foe and longtime arch nemesis Sturgeon! This was quite the battle going back and forth with the boys eventually holding onto a 6-5 victory.  That win put them in the A Division and earned them a semi-final date with Douro on Sunday.  The early morning game against Douro was a bit of struggle for the team and they looked like they were still asleep for most of it.  Luckily they eventually woke up because they were down 4-3 with under a minute remaining and scored a game tying goal with only 22 seconds left on the clock.  That seems to have given them a bit of a jump because they came out in overtime and scored less then a minute into it to give them the victory.  In the championship game they were pitted against the Pelham Panthers a team that was definitely going to be tough to beat.  Thankfully they saved their best for last and put together their best team effort of the season and walked away with a 4-0 win and the tournament champions.  LET'S GO WILD!!!
