Player Financial Support
No child should be left on the sidelines but in Canada 1 in 3 families cannot afford to enroll their child in organized sports. That’s almost 750,000 children every year who want to play, but just can’t. The organizations listed below help to change that.
Criteria for Jumpstart assistance includes the following:
- Child must be between the ages of 4 and 18
- Funding must be for a program involving sport or physical activity
- Your family must be in financial need as defined by Government guidelines
For more information about Jumpstart please see their website HERE
Together with our network of 18 local chapters, KidSport Ontario provides grants to help cover the costs of enrolment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Ontario can play a season of sport. For more information about KidSport Ontario please see their website HERE.
To provide low-income families with the means to enroll their children in local sports and recreational programs.
