The boys were pumped to get this game going! There was an air of confidence in the dressing room that was certainly not there at the beginning of the year. They played an awesome first period, with Vaughn getting his second goal in the series on the power play at 2:14 of the first. This started a scoring spurt, as Manvers tied it and then Footie scored to put us ahead before the end of the period. The second period saw manvers tie tie early, and then Footie put us ahead again before the period was over. The bigger ice seemed to suit our boys better, as we blasted out to a 3-0 lead before the end of the 1st period! David potted the first goal off a nifty feed  from Lucas, EBS got his fourth banging in a rebound from a Sawyer shot from the point, and Footie had a nice little break to get the third goal for us. After a quick 'tender pee break, the boys held on for dear life in the 2nd and 3rd. Taking some ill timed penalties because we stopped skating got us into some trouble and allowed Manvers within sniffing distance of the win. A big vat of wd40 is what was needed for our boys last night, as they shook of some rust after 2 weeks of no games. The first period and a half saw a 0-0 tie, but Aiden helped big time with making sure that it stayed that way as Manvers had tons of chances. Footie opened the scoring on a hustle play started by Noah, who beat a Manvers player to the puck, shot, and Footie was there to bury the rebound. Manvers tied it, then went ahead as Sawyer picked a bad time to take his first penalty of the year (phantom call by ref). Manvers struck again and the Boys heads were hanging until Vaughn rifled ...

In a do or die game, our boys worked hard to try and seal the deal. Karts had the best chance of the first with a penalty shot called for him, and he beat everything but the goalies stick. We got scored on first before Footie went top shelf to tie the game. Sawyer was the hero of the second as he did his signature end to ender to go ahead and be leading 2-1 at the end of the second. That was all of our scoring however, and Lindsay got two in the third to clinch their spot in the 'A' finals. Aiden made some great saves to keep us in it, and Luc got the hardhat award for all of his hard work. ...

The second game of our home and home series against Mariposa in their barn started out the right way with EBS passing to Aren, who buried it on their first shift of the game! This lead was erased and Mariposa went ahead before the first was done. This didnt deter our boys and they kept their heads up and tied it mid 2nd, with Footie working his magic once again. They took the lead early in the third before Charlie knotted the score. We ran out of luck at that point, but enough cant be said for the boys WILL to win this game. We definitely out chanced mariposa with EBS almost potting one, and ...
