Brock White vs Mariposa
A rare Sunday morning game in Cannington saw the Boys play one of their best games all year! Losing 3-0 to Mariposa in their barn, we were looking for some redemption! Both teams came out firing and it was a hard fought 0-0 first period, no thanks to a controversial "no goal" call that went against us as the buzzer sounded! This back and forth action continued deep into the second period, when an unfortunate ricochet put the puck into our net, giving Mariposa the lead. Our boys never gave up their pressure on the other team, keeping the puck in their end for extended periods. Another little miscue gave mariposa a breakaway, which they converted for the 2-0 win. Well done boys! Card winners for this game were Ian, Blanchett, and Parker!
