Frank Sabatino Tourney Jan 20-22
In Oakville this past weekend to participate in the Frank Sabatino Atom Tourney. Despite going 2-0-1, we lost out of a trip to the semis based on points. The boys represented the Wild very well, outscoring opponents 15-7 in 3 games, with Ethan Brennan Sherwood (2 goals), Sawyer Cassidy, and Andrew Barfoot earning Player of the Game awards. In the Skills competition, Footie won the shootout competition, Aiden went 3/4 in saves, Sawyer was close in the Defenceman agility drills, Clayton clocked a 42 mph wrist shot in the hardest shot competition, and Lucas represented in the Fastest Skater. The 4 boys also made it to the finals of the team relay. Of course, the hotel ministicks was the most competitive game of the weekend! Great weekend boys!
