Away to Mariposa
The boys seemed a little zombie-ish in the dressing room before the game, and Coaches were hoping it wasn't a little pre-Christmas burnout that was going to play a factor in the game. But, once they hit the ice, they certainly have a knack for turning it on. The first period ended with Mariposa only having two shots on our 'Tendie, and one of those was an attempted icing! Our boys put tons of pressure on the Mariposa 'd' which lead to a number of turnovers. TP was able to jump on one and sniped it top shelf to open the scoring for us, and Footie got another shortly after, assisted by Malcolm and Pullin, to lead by two at the end of the period. Footie and Toggy added to the lead in the second, with Gregson adding one to complete the scoring in the third.
