1/4 Final - Game 1 in Sturgeon
A slow start in Fenelon found us in an early hole that we couldn't quite dig ourselves out of. Sturgeon had 2 on the board in the first, before Toggy broke our doughnut with a nice goal early in the second. Sturgeon then scored two more before the end of the period, which kept our boys back on their heels. We woke up in the third though, after the flood. We found our game again, refinding our fore check that Sturgeon just couldn't handle. This lead to Gregson getting two in the third, his whole line fore checking furiously and getting the puck to him to bang in from the crease. There was a frenzy of goal mouth stands in the Sturgeon crease where a couple of better bounces would have won us the game, but it just didnt happen for us tonight.
