After tying the regular season series with Kawartha, the 'Bys traveled to Omemee to open the second round series. The 'Bys were focused in the dressing room ready for battle, and battle they did. Continuous pressure on the Kawartha players and some heads up defense passing kept the game close in the first period. Kawartha managed to get one late in the first, but were kept off the scoreboard for the rest of the game, as Aiden stood strong against a relentless attack, and made many highlight reel saves to keep this one as close as it was. Overall, it was a fantastic team game, with the 'Bys not giving an inch, and giving the Kawartha goalie some work in the third period to try and knot the score. Even pulling the goalie with a faceoff deep in the third did not help us tie it up.
