1/4 finals @Sturgeon - Game 1
The 'Bys were coming into the series riding a big wave after defeating Kawartha in the last series, and headed to Sturgeon to start the 1/4 finals. The high we were on quickly disappeared however, as we didn't bring our A game. Down three goals by early in the second, we tightened up after that and starting taking it to them. Mavy finally broke the ice for us late in the second, to get us within 2. Then Toggy and Brock connected before the end of the period to get us within 1. That was as close as we were going to get as Sturgeon potted 2 more in the third to win the game. We were able to pressure the Sturgeon team and make things happen, we just need to make a more consistent effort throughout the game.
