Game 2 - Home to Kawartha
The 'Bys hosted Kawartha for the second game of the back to back weekend. Having hometown ice certainly helped, as Footie opened the scoring with the help of Prusty and TP only a minute and a half in. We were able to continue the pressure from the first game and probably spent 80% of the game in Kawarthas end. Kawartha managed to tie it before the end of the first, but the 'Bys kept at it, and were all over them for long stretches. However, we lost focus for a couple of shifts in the second, and Kawartha potted 3 in a minute and a half, which put the game out of reach for us. After the flood, Kawartha took a penalty, and Donnie blasted one from the point that found the back of the net (Toggy and Brock assisted) to pull us within 2, but that was as close as we could get.
