Game 3 - @ Kawartha
Being in a deep hole, going into game 3, the 'Bys traveled to Omemee to try and dig themselves out. Scoring a couple of goals in the last game seemed to give them some confidence, as in the first minute of the game, Brock converted an EBS pass to bulge the twine and give us the lead! This set the tone for the game, as a few minutes later, EBS again made a great pass to Swizz who took it behind the net and somehow managed to bury it for a 2-0 at the end of the first. The second period wasn't kind to us as Kawartha potted 2 to knot the score, and that lasted well into the third. The 'Bys set a pace after the flood that Kawartha couldn't match and we wore them down shift by shift. With time winding down, Captain Clutch (Sammy) buried a rebound from Mavy's shot to seal the victory!
