Mite Whites Win 2 out of 3 to cap off busy weekend!
The Brock Mite White team had a very busy weekend competing in 3 games over 4 days and came away winning 2 out of 3 to improve our record to 4-5 on the season.

Thursday January 26th the boys took on the local rivals the Brock Green team where we came up short in a 7-4 loss. The game was highlighted by some very special firsts however with Isaac and Kashton each scoring their first goals of the season! Owen played his first ever game in goal and made some nice saves in his debut. Derek and Jayvon also scored goals in a great team effort.

Despite being down 6-1 at one point in the game, everyone continued to work hard and never gave up fighting all the way back to make the game 6-4 before the Green team managed to score with just seconds left.  An excellent effort though to make a game of it late.

On Saturday the boys were home to the Lindsay Muskies White team. During the game we found out that there is a rule that limits the number of goals that 1 player can score to 3. Luckily for us, it proved to be enough as we battled to a 3-2 win. Declan made his goaltending debut and made some nice saves to preserve the lead. Jayvon scored all the goals for the Wild but also made several great passes late in the game to try to set up his teammates.

On Sunday the strong teamwork continued against the Sturgeon Lake Thunder Red team. In this game we saw Rhys making his debut in goal, do a great job making several nice saves. The game also saw Eric score his first career goal with a few more added by Jayvon in an impressive 4-3 win!

Nathan, John and Garnet played fantastic as well with several great passes and good checking at both ends of the rink.

All in all a fantastic weekend by all! Congratulations boys! We are all very proud of you!
