Hosting Sturgeon for the final regular season game of the year, the 'Bys were eager to avenge the close 5-4 loss from their last meeting. It wasn't in the cards for us however, as we managed to dig ourselves a 3-0 hole before the first was over. In the second, we managed to wake up and put a ton of pressure on the Sturgeon 'D' and tender, but a couple of missed shots and posts kept us off the sheet. TP took control of the puck behind the net and saw an opening and managed to bank one in, assisted by Footie and Sammy, but that was as close as we got. We were able to put a ton of pressure on Sturgeon for long stretches of time, controlling the puck with the cycle, but puck management in our own end will have to be a little smarter for the playoffs.
