Playoff Game 3 - At Mariposa
With a potential end to the series in sight, the 'Bys travelled to Oakwood hoping to keep up the pace of play displayed in the first two games. For the first time in the series, we opened the scoring, with a pretty passing play by Brock to Mavy who buried it. Mariposa tied it up before the period was over. Prusty then potted one, and Mavy got his second before Mariposa struck again to make it a one goal game. Mavy potted his third to regain the two goal lead to end the second. Mariposa managed to score two in the third, but Sammy, Prusty, Brock and Toggy all found the back of the net for the 8-4 victory! As big as the score was, penalty issues (2 -5 on 3's) could have cost us in the second and the third. Next up: Kawartha on Saturday. Good Luck 'Bys!
